Jordan Gago is an Orlando-based singer, dancer, and actor from Port Orange, Florida.
Throughout his time in the sunshine state, he’s worked professionally across Central Florida as both an artist and entertainer. He’s recently appeared in A Chorus Line as Paul San Marco, Mamma Mia as Sky, Green Day’s American Idiot as Declan, Irving’s Berlin’s Holiday Inn as a featured singer and tapper, and The Producers as the understudy for Leo Bloom, where he had the opportunity to perform the role a number of times throughout the run. On top of that, Jordan enjoys working and workshopping new material. He appeared in the world-premiere of 7-N-7 (An Old-Fashioned Musical Reimagined), as Jesús at the Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival, as well as portraying the role of Tuff and Vince in Winter Park Playhouse's staged reading of Stone Crossed, and Zack Hill and the Rocket Blaster Man Adventure, through The Florida Festival of New Musicals.
Jordan just graduated from the University of Central Florida this past spring, where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. Throughout his final semester, he worked on his last show with Theatre UCF, Shrek The Musical, where he was featured through a multiple variety of roles, including but not limited to, Pied Piper, Knight #1, Duloc Dancer, and many more. Through the skills and abilities that Jordan learned throughout his training and studies, he had the opportunity to be featured in Virtually Yours: A Night with the Athens Theatre, which just won an Emmy-Award this past year.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling coast to coast, trying out new food and local restaurants, binging through previous seasons of Full House and Family Matters, Shark Tank, and
Hell’s Kitchen, and stacking plastic cups as fast as he can, where he’s currently a Nation-ranked Sport Stacker, competing at both the World Championships against over 15 countries, and the AAU Junior Olympics.
